Default Werder says Spencer will be gone

He says Spencer will be gone

Says Cowboys feel Ratliff will be a good DT in the 4-3. So im guessing Ratliff stays.

Says Jerry indicated that he will strip Garrett of calling plays

Given his contract situation, plus the notion that he would be a good 4-3 DT, it makes sense, despite the whole thing with JJ.
There's always more to the story.

Mannnn I want Spencer at RE!!! Come on man... Him and Ware coming off the edge in a 4-3 would be crazy.

Lets count on a guy who cant stay on the field anymore and is on the wrong side of 30. Makes sense.

It has more to do with salary cap issues it is cheaper to keep him then it is to cut him and rotate him like Dallas did in the SB years. Could limit his snaps

FWIW, Mike Fisher on 105.3 FM tonight said that he would not count out Jerry finding some way to keep Spencer...

And that's the problem right there. It shouldn't be his call.

You do know that an injured, OLD, Ware still out sacked, barely, but still did (in a contract year) Spencer.

A guy basically in a wheelchair, out sacks you. Embarrassing.

Then I guess 99% of all NFL defenders should rightly feel embarrassed.

Yup. I think they have to let him go. Maybe franchise and trade to get something out of it?
