Championship game picks: who you want, who you got?

I did a thread like this last week and we had some fun with it. Gimme who you WANT to win and who you THINK will win:


1) Falcons/Whiners:

I hate the 49ers' for obvious reasons but IF they can keep the Crabtree thing from distracting them, they will win. I guess Kaepernick had some issues in a dome earlier this year but lets' be honest: that dome in Atlanta isn't typically loud. Georgians are pretty mellow I guess: WHiners 24 Falcons 20......hope I'm wrong.



2) Ravens/Pats:

I just can't EVER root for Brady and Bellichek: botH tools IMO. That said they are very good at what they do which is win in January. I think the Ravens are playing on emotion and that runs out here. This will also be close due to fact Gronk is out and Flacco has hit his stride: Pats 27 Ravens 24......

I think both games are close until the 4th quarter and the cream will rise to the top. Falcons are frauds.

The Falcons are one game from going to the Super Bowl. That's not fraud like. They are legit and have showed such.

They won 1 playoff game, due to the bonehead idea of the Seahawks HC calling a Timeout. "Legit" is a bit much to be tagging them with. LUCKY may be more appropriate.

They won the game and that one game to be in the NFC championship game. That's all that matters. I wish we had that excuse to be in their position.

..and I'm wrong: Falcons/Ravens Super Bowl would be fun as I like both of them. (probably only other teams I like besides Dallas which is far and away my favorite team: although sometimes I root for Cleveland because I feel sorry for them )

The dome is super loud this year. I have been to multiple games and its pretty rough to be the away team.

Would prefer that Ravens & Falcons win because I believe the Ravens would be able to beat the Falcons in the Super Bowl. I don't want Brady getting another ring ( he already has 3 tainted ones. Screw him ) & I don't want the 49ers to 1 up us on Super Bowl wins. Bad enough we have to deal with the Steelers having more than us.
