Default Garrett Up for Ravens and Falcons Jobs

Funny to see these tweets now,

Matt Mosley ‏@mattmosley Just a reminder that both the Falcons and Ravens wanted Jason Garrett to be their head coach in 2008. They dodged a bullet. #process

If we could trade the Ravens or Falcons OL's for ours I wonder who would be the better HC?
"It's little bit like the description of pornography from years back. It's hard to define it. But you know what it is at the end of it. It's hard to define it. I think you know who is more physical. Often times you see that in the fourth quarter. A lot of time the team on the other side feels it. We pride ourselves on being a physical football team. It's important to us. It's an important time of the year to lay that foundation." - Coach Garrett

I dont think it matters what the OL looks like when you have a head coach doing hoodrat stuff like icing his own kicker

There's no guarantee those O-Lines would be the same if Garrett were head coach there.

and there's no guarantee a hargbaugh would get us to the superbowl

the only "guarantee" is people will whine as if it matters.

So is Jason responsible for picking the OL or the GM Jerry?

But I thought Jason's cleaning up the culture by getting rid of dead weight...

Jerry has final decision, but Garrett certainly has/had input.

Either way, regardless of what the answer is, we can play the "what if?" game all day. Facts are facts, and the fact is Garrett is here and our line is crap.

Garrett is one of the architects of this line so he gets blame for that too.

Wow. That is a low blow.
Is there any reward for good other than good?

I was actually going to start a thread on this earlier.

Would JG still be at either team, running his offense, and would he have had the same success?
