Default Bill Callahan Sabotaged the Raiders in Their Super Bowl Loss....

Well that is, according to Tim Brown. And was backed by Jerry Rice on these comments.

According to receiver Tim Brown, Jon Gruden's Tampa Bay Buccaneers thrashed the Raiders 48-21 in Super Bowl XXXVII because Oakland was "sabotaged" by Bill Callahan, the team's head coach at the time, who changed the game plan at the last minute.

Brown's comments to SiriusXM NFL Radio on Saturday were earlier reported by ProFootballTalk.com, which was provided audio of his remarks.

Brown said that when the Raiders got the game plan on the Monday before the Super Bowl, it was a run-heavy attack taking advantage of Oakland's size advantage on the offensive line. However, Brown said Callahan scrapped the plan on Friday to the shock of the team.

Tim Brown is an idiot.

What coach would want to lose a Super Bowl?

What coach at the NFL level doesnt have an ego?

What would be better for the career of the coach - a win or a loss?

Seriously, what incentive would there be for a coach to try and lose a Super Bowl?

I don't think any coach who would do that would ever get a job again in the league if it was even suspected he did as much.

This guy had Al Davis as his boss and we didn't hear a single word from Al about it?

Doubt it. That's like Rex Ryan walking through the mall without stopping at every single shoe store he passes.
