Default I sense a change is coming...

I am not some pump shine kind of person, but after listening to all the new coaches, I'm getting a different sense about this team going forward.

It's like listening to the coaches become a team. The personalities of all of them...some of you saw them.

And, all of them mentioned the head coach.

Something is coming up for us fans.

I have great optimism for the defense... But I think the offense will remain the same. I for see us ignoring the oline again and paying for it

I have the same optimism for the defense that I did last year. I think they are going to be an exciting bunch with a crafty coach. I foresee that the running game will be ignored again and paying for it.
It's a message board, that's what the topics are for.

What I don't understand...insistence...disdain...It's one thing to feel that way, and to say so. Why try to make other people agree with you....And why pretend...Disagree with me all you like...Don't start twisting mine or getting frustrated just because I don't want to eat the other half of that crap-sandwich you made for yourself...Because I don't happen to like crap sandwiches.

There has been no more crabby, moody, curmudgeony fan than me for the past 5+ years about this diseased-ridden clown-act of a football organization.

But I've been optimistic for about two years now, and I think 2013 has some very nice things in store for us. Ignore the media; they are the most clueless among us these days. Today's reporters are lazier than they've ever been. Not an original thought among them.

The roster is now a collection of RKGs who can handle Jerry's spurts of dementia and his over-meddling ways. This ain't Tank, Pacman, TO, Roy OU, Roy UT....with pudgy Wade riding herd over them.

Gone are the old has-beens, thanks to Garrett.

The Cowboys have a collection of very young and very good players. Now, they have to address the glaring needs of offensive line, and defensive if possible. This Corvette can't run without motor oil.

I love that they've switched to the the 4-3 as well and replaced the sloppy Ryan with TWO defensive coordinators.

Things are coming together.

Garrett says all the right things, but the proof is in the pudding. This is his last year if we don't get a playoff win.

I do not know what the future will bring.

But this I do know. Too many times people have made predictions, or had feelings, or contacted their Ouija boards and come away with this next season will be different.

I hope it will be different, as well.

But your comment about people or this specific person degrading the team or anyone who professes good time being just around the corner ignores both the end results and the people who have been expressing doubts during those lean times.

There are people so quick to label those who are in a wait and see mode as negative.

I think my stance is show me.

Show me these coaches will change the players who have under achieved for far too long.

Don't give me a laundry list of excuses why they didn't achieve before. That is merely your opinion.

Show me.

And I don't give a rat's butt if that hair lips the governor, I am not budging off this until this team turns a corner and is not a flash in the pan.

So perhaps the negative you see is people tired of the same ole same ole and are just saying it emphatically...

Show Me
You've been weighed

You've been measured

And you've been found to be a casual fan

I have no problem with fans taking a wait and see approach with this team. None whatsoever.

All I can say is I'm a hardcore fan and still get excited about the prospect of the season and excitement of bringing in new members of the coaching staff. No one forces me to be a fan I am because of the passion for the game and of this franchise. I have said for years I'm hardcore win or lose but always a Cowboys fan.

I don't go into any season expecting failure. When I played sports I was always optimistic about our team’s chance and as a fan I'm optimistic about this franchise and getting back to the top. I have yet to become as jaded as many others seem to have become

In 2006 we were in the playoffs @ 9-7, then 13-3 and the playoffs in 2007. We slipped a bit in 2008, but were back to 11-5 and a return to the playoffs in 2009.

I felt at that point that we were really on the edge of returning to glory.

And then in 2010, the 1-7 start and firing of WP. It has been one agonizing letdown after another since then.

I would not say I am jaded, but 6-10, 8-8 and 8-8 do not have me bubbling over with confidence either.

I need to see it on the field. Show me something. I will know it when I see it.

A process is good and all, I believe in a process. But sooner or later, that process has to translate into results.

I would say that if the process does not show results in 2013, .. the process is flawed.

Rookie of the year 2012, biggest farce ever.
The toothbrush had to be invented in West Virginia, if it was created anywhere else it would have been called a teethbrush.
