4 Round Mock Draft Game using Scouts Inc Top 100
March 4, 2013
ESPN Scouts Inc released an updated version of their top 100 players rankings for the draft.
Let's do a Dallas Cowboys 4 Round Mock Draft Game using the following rules: - The 1st four Cowboys picks are 18, 47, 80 and 111.
- You can choose only players listed at that pick or later. So all player s18-100+ are available for our 1st round pick, but players ranked 1-17 are not.
- For the 4th pick you can use any player not on the list (if that's too much trouble than skip pick 4 or use it in a trade.
- You can make trades, but only with picks that are really there. So check to be sure what picks each team owns.
- An example of a fair trade would be Dallas' 18th pick (900pts) for Seattle's 25th,87th, and 185th picks (720+155+17=892). Of course, no need to trade at all if it's too much hassle.

if the draft fell exactly like that i'd cry myself to sleep draft night.
in this scenario i'd take geno smith and immediately trade him to the highest bidder.
r2 datone jones
r3 terron armstead
r4 xavier gooden

I guess straight up and no trades, good options would be
1 (18): Sylvester Williams--DT, Jarvis Jones--LB, etc
2 (47): Datone Jones--DE, J Hankins--DT, Br Williams--OT, Warford--OG
3 (80): Terron Armstead--OT, B Schwenkie--C/OG, etc
4 (111): Phillip Thomas--FS, D Quessenberry--G, Mal Goodman--DE, etc
I'd be very tempted to trade here though. Also, there is a lot of value with what is there at WR and CB, but that certainly would not be need.
Sylvester Williams is now top 15 for both Kiper and McShay. And Datone Jones is going in the late 1st round in several mocks. So this value could be ok.
We'd probably have to grad a OG in free agency before ths could go down.

Is copying and pasting the full list allowed? I don't have ESPN Insider and wouldn't pay for it.

Tough to do formatting-wise. I'm sure someone knows how to do it, but whenever i try, it's a mess.

I don't think Jesse Williams is a good fit in Kiffin's defense. The DLinemen in Kiffin defenses are almost always quicker players than Williams, even the 1-techs.

I disagree.. I think he could be a good 1 technique for us. probably not a every down player but 1st and 2nd down I like him in there. You are right about him liking quicker guys but I think they could make it work with him we have a lot of speed on the DL as it is

At that moment a voice came over me and said, Look up, get up, and don't ever give up. You tell everyone or anyone that has ever doubted, thought they did not measure up or wanted to quit, you tell them to look up, get up and don't ever give up. - Michael Irvin
