The Giants must feel like s*** for people to think they've done worse this offseason than the Redskins.
Let's see:
*Snyder talking*
Let's trade our best WR (one who we traded a number one pick for), to another team for a WR who's half as talented. Let's make sure we have to have a 9 million dollar hit to the cap for that. Then let's make sure we grossly overpay the half as talented WR.
Since we had the 9 million dollar hit to the cap, we now can't pay our best corner and our MLB who happened to be one of our best players, period. So let's just let them walk... one of them to our division rival.
Then, since this is a weak draft, we can trade next year's number one pick and next year's forth rounder plus this year's third rounder for the 25th(!) pick this year. Then, even though Campbell would be available in the second round... let's go ahead and use the 25th pick (which is really this year's 3rd and next year's 1st and 4th) on a second round QB to sit behind our first round QB we drafted three years ago.
Oh, and since we let Coles go and had to then let Smoot walk... we have to use the 9th overall pick on a CB to replace him. I know it would've been smart to sign him and use the pick on say... Mike Williams or that Passrushing DE we so desperately need... that by the way went to our division rival Cowboys. But since we had to let Coles go for Moss (hahahahhaha), we couldn't do it.
Dumb trade I know, but we need players this year for mini-camp since last year's number 1 pick won't even return the head coache's calls and wants a new contract. I know there hasn't ever been a number 1 pick that wants to rework his contract after his rookie year... Sean is special though.
By the way... Has Arrington sued us yet?
