Today's teams would physically dominate even the best teams from 30 years ago.
It used to be a huge deal if there was a player on the roster who was 300lbs. Now it's a huge deal to have an offensive lineman who is under 300 lbs.
Ya know, when we talk about Glover's lack of size, every now then it hits me, the guy is 285lbs!
That's why I've always found Jim Brown to be an interesting player. He played 40 years ago but at 6-2, 228, he'd still hold up physically today. The guy was somewhat of a freak of nature.

Juke, I think that there are some players that are so skilled that they could succeed in any era.
Comparing teams from one era to another is one thing but players like Gayle Sayers, Chuck Bednarik (at LB not C) Earl Campbell, Marion Motley, John Mackey, Don Hutson, Otto Graham, Ronnie Lott, Alan Page (as a DE), James Lofton, Roger Staubach, Anthony Muņoz was 290 and most and teams are still trying to find the next best OT of all time to fill his spot.
A good football play is a good football player regardless of when they played respectfully, IMO
