sure there are a lot of question marks about this team, but with the salary cap and free agency its safe to say every team will have its share. i think its also safe to say that questions about the Cowboys focus on the defense, manned by players either new to the team, new to the scheme or both - and coached by same...
what we DO have is a lot of young talent, but with a fair sprinkling of veterans who are at the top of their game such as Glover, Dat and Ellis. with the depth available to us now and the flexibility it offers, i think we'll see the kind of aggressive, attacking defense we have missed for so long.
With Spears, Ellis, Glover, Ferguson, Ware, Canty and others rotating along the line, backed up by big fast LBs and a bone-crusher at Safety - we have all the tools we need.
i think all these young guys will help raise the intensity level to such a point it will overcome their mistakes. teams simply won't have the time to compensate or take advantage of them.
Parcells mentioned the word "frenzy" when he spoke of the type of defense he wished to see. a defense that beat others into submission - a defense that gave no quarter....
when McNabb pukes out of fear when he faces us, you'd have to say we had a "souped-up" defense!
