I like this.
RDE- Greg Ellis/Canty
LDE- Marcus Spears/Ratliff
NT- Jason Ferguson/La' Roi Glover
ROLB- Demarcus Ware/Obogu
RILB- Kevin Burnett/James
LILB- Dat Nguyen/Shanle
LOLB- Kalen Thornton/Singleton
RCB- Anthony Henry/Hunter
LCB- Terrence Newman/Glenn
FS- Keith Davis/Reese
SS- Roy Williams/Beriault
Mine is the same as yours, Quickdraw. I think you nailed it there.
Will it end up that way? I hope so. Right now, Burnett is outside with Singleton and Ware is competing with Thornton.
I think Thornton's size could be used better at LOLB. He'd be better on running downs than Burnett, and Burnett would be a good player inside. Burnett obviously would be better covering the TE though, so he may stay outside.
A lineup of:
would be more athletic than the lineup you and I chose, and it may end up that way. Still I think Thornton would provide a good rush from LOLB and match up well in the running game.
Once they have enough experience they may switch between ILB and OLB depending on the situation.
