Default I hope this is our FB of the future

Quadtrine Hill | #23

Fullback - Miami (FL)

Height: 6'2"
Weight: 221
Quadtrine Hill is a bit of a tweener between running back and fullback. He has very good speed for a fullback, and is a tremendous pass catcher out of the backfield. He is also a good run blocker, and he also excels at picking up the blitz as a pass blocker. He is extremely strong and has very decent agility. He is also a lot more athletic then most fullbacks you see in the league. He is very undersized though, and should put on at least 15 pounds to prepare himself better for the NFL. He is still an unproven runner also, with only 20 career rushing yards at Miami, so don't expect a team who likes to use their fullback for running to draft Hill unless he really shows that he is a runner this season. Still, Hill does have a lot of possible potential as a running fullback and with players like Frank Gore gone and Miami being pretty thin in talent and depth at running back, this could be Hill's chance to prove that he can run the ball. Hill will most likely be a second day pick, as a best case scenario he will be drafted in the fourth round.

actually iwould prefer to put Barber in at FB. a bit small, but he is excellent at picking up the blitz, and can hit people.

Hill is a good football player. I think we are seeing the end of the extra-offensive-linemen-lined-up-off-the-line-of-scrimmage hiccup in the NFL, and fullbacks are returning back to what they should be. Weapons.

If we were going to draft a FB, we should have done it last year when Mauel White and Nehemiah Broughton were both available in the late rounds.

Interestingly enough, the Skins drafted both of em.
