Let's Trade Up For Jimmy Williams In The Second Round..
Sporting News had Jimmy Wiliams ranked as the TOP CB in the draft and a top 10 pick. He has FALLEN to the second round....
Let's get this guy and finish off our secondary for the championship run in 2006..
He can play CB or FS.....
DO IT Parcells!
When asked about his mobility-
"When one of these running quarterbacks wins the Super Bowl, then I think that'll be a lot more valid."- Drew Bledsoe 2/23/05
It is so obvious we need a guy like Jimmy who can dominate that position, he even has the potential to be the best free saftey in the NFL. Aren't you guys tired of watching our defense play thier hearts out only to see the free saftey give up a big play

Definitely. But unless the character concerns are a mere smokescreen, he shouldn't really be considered -- and this coming from someone who loves the guy's talent.
Also, I'm not convinced we'll be trading up this round.

I've heard about his character concerns. What exactly are they? I heard cockiness....but that's the norm for a DB. I've heard bi-polar. If that's the case, then I say stay away.
This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.
