The Good:
This offense can really move the ball
We had good pressure today at times
We actually produced some turnovers
Antonio Bryant
Eddie George
Robinson has the highest TD to reception stats in NFL history
Willingness to take chances on 4th down

The Bad:
Penalties... this was unnacceptable today... what was up with Flo
Turnovers... Vinny got too comfortable and telegraphed his passes
Our tackling was ATROCIOUS today... especially in the open field
We let the Browns stay in the game

The Ugly:
Newman for the most part
Roy (call off the engagement... you are getting soft)
Vinny
The amount of f-bombs Parcells was throwing down on the sideline today

I had to double check the number and roster to verify that VT was indeed the QB and that QC hadn't snuck back on the field.

Hos, you can go first next Monday night. I'll be asleep I'm sure when that game ends.

Come'on Trick...

Newman ugly?

The rules have changed this year my man. You can't judge corners by old rules. This 5-yard chuck stuff has changed the way corners play this game.
The last time I looked I didn't think Garcia had a good day and Newman deserves some credit for that.

exactly...we won with Vinny almost giving it to them...that's huge...he won't play that awful every week....sad thing is all of his int's were poor decisions...awk....and his underthrows to Keyshaun and JJ hurt too.

Still, I was thrilled with the play of our young CB's, Nate Jones and Jacques Reeves...those kids played lights out, played the ball, JOnes knocking out a key first down pass and reeves making a play in the end zone....we have options to hunter, and that's all I need to have a little hope for this season to turn out okay.

Well... I was, and am, in favor of taking him in the draft...

But I saw WR's behind him all day long... if the Browns had had a non-girlie man QB then we would have been sunk...

I rarely hate on Newman... but he did NOT look good toady... he is WAY too fast to let WR's get behind him...

- flozell had another two penalties. one false start, one holding. thats bad news.

- tnew got shook up. looked like a rookie out there. also had that blatant PI. saving grace is the pick in the 4th quarter.

- VT - 3 ugly picks. was it just me or did he lock in on glenn today? by my count Key only had 3 passes thrown his way. he caught two of them, the third was the TD knocked away by Little.

- JJ - first 3 carries for 4 yards and a fumble. ugly.

- jeff garcia scrambling. wiley and ellis can't let the QB get out of the pocket like that.

- EG, old and slow, but what else is new?

thats all i can think of for now. but a win is a win

Is it too late to go first????

There were WR's running free way too often in our secondary. We're not going to get away with that when there's a QB better than Garcia opposing us.

Lack of discipline.

Roy Williams looks average and still hasn't matched his rookie season.

Wiley looks like Ekuban II....uh, I take that back...Wiley will have to pick up his play to be as good as Ekuban.

Parcells is going to get us taken off the air if a microphone ever get's close enough to him...
RIP Santiago

It was QC-esque. He had 3 picks and more that should have been.

EG ran better this week than last week, so that's a positive.

Nice to see that both JJ and LEE picked up the proper blitzer when they were in there.....yes, BP I was looking to see what they would do when they blitzed with them in there and lo and behold, they picked the right guys up. Hopefully, BP will have a little bit more confidence in them doing this.

Nice punt to the one by McBriar. I'll say it right now, this early in the season, that he will be our punter next year as well.

The defense had a much better game today, although they need to stop the run better like they did last year. Couldn't ask for a much better game defending the pass though.
