Default The Good, The Bad, And The Uuuuuuuugly

THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UUUUUUUUGLY

We obviously made alot of mistakes today and still won. We won't be able to do that against good teams...

props to:

Dat for getting that pick and tackling pretty well today

Ellis for putting pressure on the QB and playing like he did last year.

Glover for fighting through those doubleteams...it seems that since Wiley isnt doing anything, just like Ek last year, Glover is still getting doubleteamed...

TNewman for picking that ball off.

Hunter for being in the right place at the right time.

Jones and Reeves....maybe those guys have more of a future than we think...maybe Hunter will be on the bench soon...sure he didnt get beat today but wait till we play someone who is better than average...

Roy Williams for playing like he did last year.

The problem on D to me starts with the NT not plugging the hole up as well as we did last year....

Coakley has lost a step...dont believe it just watch the tape...

Woodson is gone...pretty obvious...Dixon didnt even do that great against the run...he did knock the ball out on that one play though...

Wiley hasnt dont much yet...Coleman also was in there alot today and missed some tackles...with those weaknesses they were able to run a little bit..not much but when we play a good team things could be different...we need to get those holes fixed...Wiley had better step up and Carson needs to step it up...

props to Bryant, Glenn, and keyshawn...key blocks well also

Witten - the next Novacek definitely...

Vinnie - good throwing until the pics...have never seen anything like that before...3 pics in 5 throws..not even quincy ever managed that

NO PROPS TO:

JULIUS FOR FUMBLING and just sitting there with the ball lying there next to him. He needs to get it together or Lee will take his carries..he has the speed though...we need him

Vinnie for throwing 3 pics in 5 throws...

Key for the stupid penalty

Bradie for the stupid penalty

Flozell for his two stupid penalties

LA for his stupid penalty

Newman for his stupid penalty...and d$mn he got lost in coverage a little bit a few times...wasnt expecting that....

Wiley for his play...when is he going to turn it up? if he cant who will?

Coleman didnt tackle well

Dixon didnt tackle well

Overall, we made more mistakes than I can remember and still won...we dominated at times but didnt we do that last year? dominate the not so good teams and get beat by the good ones...sounds like an 8-8 year unless there are injuries and we can get to 10-6 again...let's hope for the best....too many stupid mistakes...cant believe that that is happening to tell you the truth...if I am parcells I run the team until they drop on tuesday...seriously...teach them they cannot make stupid mistakes...we should have won by 30 points...seriously...we gave them at least 9 points...and should have scored another 14....let's get it together guys oh and one more thing......

Vinnie is so slow that these guys are getting the jump on him....people said it in preseason and now we are seeing it....but shouldnt glenn have come to the ball both of those times the guy who was covering him got picked off? also remember vinnie almost got picked off a few other times...he needs to be quicker with his delivery...and not be so deliberate!

the only negative i have to add is cundiff's missed field goal, short kickoffs and the kickoff that went out of bounds.

a positive i have to add is the o line'd play didn't drop off with johnson and lehr playing the whole game.

We gave up so many "hidden" yards today and potential points due to all the penalties. It was unbelievable. All the drive-stalling holding and false start penalties by the OLine. The 40 yd PI call on Newman, the late hit by James - both on 3rd and long. The PF call on Keyshawn that cost us a 1st and Goal. So many costly penalties. If we play anything CLOSE to a clean game, the difference in the score would've been AT LEAST 14-17 points.

I'm not even taking into account the missed FG, the INTs by Vinnie and Julius' fumble because those things will happen at times unfortunately. Just the penalties alone killed us. Nearly cost us the game.

Witten had a flase start, but his holding call was bogus...so was the holding call on Adams...both penalties wiped out good plays by our offense..

the officiating was awful...Jones and Parcells need to start riding the league's about this crap...last week there were several bogus calls though it didnt matter because we would have lost anyway...bad officiating today almost cost us this game

but did you see how LA was plowing people? we do have some upside though

Flozell can play better as far as his ability...he could dominate and I think he will next week

Witten is only getting better

Newman has upside and so do all the corners...hopefully it will come soon

Al Johnson is going to get better...the whole line will get better the more they play together

lets not forget that vinnie is still getting used to his receivers....HE ONLY THREW FOR 300+ YARDS TWO TIMES,,,WHICH IS A RECORD...and only really knows one receiver...he only got the ball twice today...just think when they all get in sink and Lee and/or Jones gets fully integrated....talk about speed...wait till Jones gets a hold of what is going on...it's going to come soon...he will learn...back to Vinnie...he only really had 3 bad throws....well a few more than that but with the new players he has to get used to , it could have gotten worse

there is still upside regarding BP's program and the players getting more used to it...it's only his second year...1st for others....there is still growth there

Thornton is going to get better I think...shoot he needs to cause Wiley's play is not that good right now....

Bradie is going to get better...he's young...he will get better....

We also had one st olinemen out and another playing hurt

and just think about this...what is the NFL going to do if we ever get a hold of our penalties!?????????????????
