Default Opinions-Ramonce Taylor declares

All will depend on his interviews, but the guy was electric when he played. He has the tools to be every bit as good as Reggie Bush. I wondering what horn fans think. On the football field talent wise, I was always impressed with him and I don't know where he will goin the draft, but our offense is begging for a combo threat like him.
I had an apartment and I had a neighbor, and whenever he would knock on my wall I knew he wanted me to turn my music down and that made me angry 'cause I like loud music... so when he knocked on the wall, I'd mess with his head. I'd say, "Go around! I cannot open the wall! I dunno if you have a doorknob on your side but over here there's nothin'. It's just flat."

athletically he is a beast.....fast, quick, elusive, powerful, can run, can catch, and can even probably throw, an ok blocker, and a good KR....

now his character is suspect. He isn't the sharpest tool in the shed that is for sure. he left UT because of grades and legal troubles.

If it was just a talent thing...I would say go for it....but character is important to me, and cannot see him keeping his act together....he reminds me of lawrence phillips...all the talent in the world (even more so than clarett), but is gonna be self destructive.

i can honestly see him in cincy with the rest of the crime family....

With Taylor on the team, I can honestly say that I believe Texas would have been a very different team this year. That guy is uncoverable out of the backfield.

He's talented, but he has too many off-field issues. Stay away. If he doesn't get drafted, bring him in for a workout.

I appreciate the approach with "character guys", but at some point we should go with a "talent guy". I think there are enough personalities here to keep him in line. If he stays on the reservation I think he can bring alot to this offense.

As far as character, I could care less if someone is saint. But I dont want us to draft any criminals. Taylor was in and out of trouble a lot at UT. Not just academics (though that too), but weapons and drug possesion. I hope he turns his life around, but his response to the adversity was to quit at UT and go to a small time school, instead of trying to fix his problems.

His legal issues are still pending, and the cowboys should fully investigate that. He also won't have played competitive football in 1.5 years come week one. Both factors should be weighed heavily and I hope we wouldn't spend more thana 6th round pick on him. I see him like Marcus Vick. I'd prefer to just bring him in as a FA.

physically and athletically he is every bit as good as Reggie Bush....

he just has character issues...and that is why I don't want to pick him...but if he is there in the 7th....i think he is worth the risk.

BTW....Bush wasn't squeaky clean......he had his scandal at USC about the house and so forth that his family was able to get.....luckily for him, his Heisman, and USC's National Championships, USC has a great cover-up team...

I couldn't agree more. He is every bit as fast and has natural running back and WR combo skills. Athletically they are the same.
