We are also paying a man who will remain nameless to sit on the bench behind Davis $9 million to pick his nose, so if it happens it happens. Plus this is the third year of his deal and I think we would save money if he were to leave next offseason.
Do you remember how bad he was picked on down the stretch?

on NFL network's "Path to the Draft" last night, they were breaking down the top CB's and when they were going over Chris Houston, they said Deion Sanders strongly supports Houston and thinks he's going to be a huge player in the NFL immediately. I think Deion knows a little bit more about CB's then the normal fan. Aaron Glenn is old and was picked on down the stretch, A. Henry has a bum knee and Newman is going into a contract year (even tho we'll re-sign him). We need more YOUTH in the secondary. It's a no-brainer, take the top DB on the board at #22 and I think it'll be Chris Houston or Aaron Ross

If 5'9 is lunch meat , you should ask Romo why he didnt throw at T.O when Bly was man coverage on him in the endzone.

Damn good question.
This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

I'm curious why you guys say Houston = Carroll. I'm not saying you're wrong, either -- I just wonder why.
What's sad is, I'm an Arkansas fan, but I rarely got to see them play last year. I watched them a lot when Carroll was there, and I was convinced he was barely better than Richardson, who didn't even get drafted IIRC. So I was never that impressed with him.
But is Houston really the same, or is it just that he's a fast guy at the same position from the same school?

I was just about to post just that--verbatim. Houston is nowhere the player he believes himself to be. I saw him get burned so much at Arkansas, and I just never understood the hoopla surrounding him. He's a PI penalty machine! I think he is a top-notch self-promoter, though, and clearly very confident.
Take the Texas CB, Aaron Ross, and slide Henry over to safety.
