He wasn't going to get any better playing in Penn State's defensive scheme.

I've seen most of his games, he's OK, with a lot of upside, A late second Rounder IMO.

Big mistake. He won't run as well as expected, he's not very physical, plays to far off the ball and never did well against better opponents. Once NFL teams really start to break this guy down he's going to drop.

He plays far off the ball because that is the penn state defense.

that is what it has been for 40 years under paterno and it wasn't going to change. that is why it was useless for him to stay. the same things people will criticize him for now will still be there next year.

He will run exceptionally well.

And i meant to add, i completely disagree with the idea he didn't fair well against better opponents.

He completely locked down Meachum in the Outback Bowl last year and Ted Ginn did nothing against him. In fact i belive it was 2005 when Troy Smith tried to hit Ginn on a go route against King and King was stride for stride and intercepted the ball.

Hey listen man, I'm a homer Penn State fan but I'm just not high on the guy. You can blame it on the defensive scheme but CB's with far less talent have played it better at PSU. He did shut down Meachum but i really think he had a better 06' campaign then he did in 07'

I don't disagree that he had a better '06 than he had in '07.

He got a 2nd-3rd round grade from the draft advisory committee and he was obviously all right with that.

If you're talking CB mid to late 2nd i don't think there will be a better talent with the potential upside he could have.

I'm a PSU season ticket holder/Homer as well. And for a kid that already has his degree what motivation would he have to return and risk injury? If they had a legit chance at winning the B10 and going to a BCS game or contending for a NC maybe he would have returned.

Dang, season ticket holder! I hate you! If you ever can't get to a game and want to sell let me know. My dad and I fight and bleed every year to find tickets for at least one game. I guess it has sort of become a tradition.

Sounds like you don't have much faith for 08', I think the rest of the NCAA is in for a big surprise.

I would take a flyer on him in the 3rd perhaps, but probably not in round one or two.
