WAY WAY WAY WAY TOO EARLY, they can trade up into the LATE 1st round to pick him and go another direction here.

You fear it's going to happen...and yet you have him going 22?
There isn't a person here who, likely, would turn him down at 22.

So you are saying we will trade with someone our current #22 pick plus next's #1 to get Mcfadden? It it was, say, the 4-6th pick, would that work out value wise?

I would trade #22 and next year's #1 for McFadden. I'd rather make it #28 so we are sure to get a CB at 22

Yes, but who you would be trading with would laugh in your face.
Honestly it is going to take both #1s and a bit more
Nobody wants a 13-3 team's #1 for the next year -- the value will be that of a low 2nd in terms of how it is seen in terms of the draft value chart

No, he's not dropping to 22. I just think we'll trade up with him with our 22nd pick and have to throw in something from next year too.

I would not trade two firsts for him--I might trade our two firsts for the pick that lands McFadden and a their #2. But we don't need very many draft picks--how many rookies will make this team? If it's my draft, I take the best corner and the best WR in the first and a RB in the second and special teamers after that.

If I had an early first-round pick I wouldn't seriously consider Dallas as a trade partner unless I was interested in a player already on the Dallas roster. Any deal with them would prolly hafta include, at minimum, a good veteran player.
I wouldn't bank on Jerry Jones for generosity with now-and-future picks. I wouldn't bank on Dallas leaving me in a good slot with a future pick, either. I just wouldn't bank on Dallas for anything other than a good veteran player included in any deal I made with them.
