If EITHER of those 2 make it to #18 I'd TRADE UP!
If Jenkins or DRC make it out of the top 15 I'd be shocked, I am really praying Mayocks projection of Flowers was right, but not after his slow 40 time, I was really hoping he was the 1st C.B. taken cause that would mean one of the other 4 would definately fall to us!!

Hasn't Jenkins been getting trained by some professionals over the past couple of years as well?
I honestly think he is the Top Corner in this draft with Cromartie having more upside.
I know almost nothing about McKlevin but scouts love him.

McKelvin may be the most overrated player in the draft at this point. I think he's a late 1st/ early 2nd round talent. Maybe even lower.

why do you say that? he had a great Senior Bowl week, runs fast enough
I think the fact that many people rate him higher than your boy Cason has alot to do w/ it, you like to tear down players to pimp your own

I don't see anything about him that says he should be a top 20 pick. He wasn't that dominant in college even at Troy. And his Combine numbers are pretty good, but they're not eye-popping. Like I said, I think he's a good prospect, but he's #1 or #2 on most people's lists and I just don't see anything that would merit that. You can say "he had a good Senior Bowl" but DRC has a much better performance. And if Cason and Jenkins were there, they'd have likely outshined him too.

I'm not tearing him down. I just don't see anything that warrants him being the #1 or #2 corner. He's very good. I'd love to draft him. But I think people just follow everything that Mike Mayock says.

Agree with theo and masomenos. IMO McKelvin was seen as the best corner of a mediocre lot. With all these guys exceeding expectations, I think that pushes him down some. I can't see why anyone would put him above the much bigger DRC, just to name one.

no he wasn't, Mike Jenkins seemed to be the consensus #1 before the Combine

It would've been nice to see him play in the actual game instead of just practice, though.

He just wasn't that dominant of a player, even at Troy. He doesn't have natural hands and kind of fights the ball when going for the INT, he didn't make a lot of plays on the ball and his combine wasn't as solid as some of the other top CBs. A lot of people have McKelvin as their #2 guy though. Really I think he's more like the 4th or 5th.

Sometimes players also are credited with a PD when they make an interception, so that stat might not be accurate.

i would be absolutely ecstatic if we drafted 2 CBs in the draft and they were Cason and Chevis.....two CBs who put up great numbers against top tier competition.
