Default Statistics are statistics

Secondly, Antonio Bryant's 170 yard game is an inflated number. There was one large gain he made for about 30 yards where he fumbled the ball forward another 10 yards and was credited for a 40 yard catch for LOSING THE FOOTBALL!! Those stat guys need to get it right!
Statistics simply are. You don't get to pick and choose what statistics you will accept and which you will not accept. You make it sound as if Bryant is the first receiver to ever get the benefit of yardage due to his own team recovering his fumble.

Personally, if it comes down to us listening to you or NFL stat guy, I think most of us here would probably take NFL stat guy in a landslide.

Oh, someone should make sure this is clear to Randy Moss, mr selfish. All he has to do is punt his catch down the middle of the field to pad his YAC stats and Yards Per catch numbers, too! Then he'll be the greatest reciever of all time!
That would be a fumble.

BP edit...watch the names
