Thing about runningbacks, the important thing to remember, is there is very little learning curve. Bill is not excited because there will be an adequate guy around after training camp cuts etc. Antowain Smith will not be any worse for it if we bring him in well into camp because Bickerstaff and Lee are not impressive. If a guy is a known commodity, we don't need to burn alot of practice/preseason time on him if we want him. Adrian Murrell was proof of that last year. In alot of ways, RB is the opposite of QB. here's the playbook, those are the running plays, we give you the ball, you hit the right hole. Anderson will basically be doing the third down work anyhow, pass blocking/receiving, if we have to bring in a guy, he will be there to provide a piece of the committee, not be the all-purpose all-singing all-dancing crap of the world.
