Why not? we had Emmitt and Novachek, The all world RB and great TE, but we had Mike Irvin and Harper, without Irvin and Harper do u think we win those Super bowl,..not....

Usually a great TE needs a nice WR or else after a while the D will key on that TE....

I also don't want a WR core to have 100 catches and 1200 yards between 2 WRs, that will not do it....

Another thing Bledsoe is a down field passer who is gonna strecth the field for us? I like Key and Glenn so don't get it twisted but we need a game breaker or a serious playmaker...OH and a little youth....

Much of what you say is true but the need is still less than in many other areas of the team. I think OT and a backup RB are greater needs at this point and that's just on the offensive side of the ball. FS, DT, CB and DE all rank higher in terms of need than does WR.

So I take it we will not sign any F/As. We will sign at least 4 F/As and have 3 high picks, that 7 players and if 1 cannot be a WR over a back-up Rb something is wrong

I agree that out of those 7 one needs to be a WR. As for a backup RB we still have ReShard Lee and he is a very capable backup RB is Parcells will just stop being so muleheaded and let him play some.

Jack, for whatever reason Lee will never see the light of day in Dallas. Just cross him off your list right now and save yourself the aggravation.

I know you're right, it is just one of Parcells' blindspots. But he did let Bickerstaff play a little and he will be back

Also we can likely pick up a backup in the 4th or 5th round that can catch and take a few snaps to give JJ a breather. That is really all we need.

Do we have an OL even close to those Super Bowl teams? Ya think we win those Super Bowls WITHOUT that OL?

The back ups on the 90's defense would be STARTING on our current D.

Another poster mentioned not have anything behind Key and Glenn. We don't have a STARTER at RDE, DT, FS and possibly one LB spot right now.

It would be STUPID to go out of our way to add a WR or CB, at the expense of those other positions. We need to put the best TEAM we can out there.

NE just won a Super Bowl without a #1 WR and a WR playing CB.

That's correct.

NO! That's not what I'm saying! What I'm saying that all things being equal there are more important needs on this team at the moment BUT if the opportunity came by to select or sign a decent receiver then sure I can support that premise.
