This "sports" talk radio is enough to make serious sports fanatics break out the razor blades and rat poison

they are horrible...I try not to listen very long at any one stretch...they should put a warning sign up that listen could cause brain damage
Three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, have governed my life: the longing for love, the search for knowledge, and unbearable pity for the suffering of mankind. These passions, like great winds, have blown me hither and thither, in a wayward course, over a great ocean of anguish, reaching to the very verge of despair....Bertrand Russell

It really bothered me that the Ticket, during Emmitt's press conference, constantly interrupted it by having a DJ say that we're listening to the ticket or running a promo saying that we are listening to the ticket.

Most sports radio stations hire DJ's that have a decent amount of sports knowledge but not an exceptional amount. Half of it is being entertaining or comedic as to draw an audience. Oftentimes, they tend to focus so much on the latter that they just come out of it sounding like idiots.

Most of our local stations here in Salt Lake do a pretty good job. Just like the Ticket though, there's some bad ones to be had.
