The Green Bay Packers announced they have re-signed restricted free agent RB Najeh Davenport. Terms of the deal were undisclosed.


For those who liked him as a backup...

I think they were asking a 4th for him weren't they? If we do not see an RB we like in the 4th he'd be a nice compliment to JJ....

Is it just me or does it seem like finding a good R in the 4th is a heck of a lot easier than it once was? BP had no fear waiting for the 2nd round to take Julius and looks like a genious to me again. So now a 4th rounder on a backup??? seems easy enough.

I think Tatum bell went int he 4th last year.. If we can get someone with that kind of talent this year in the 4th then we're laughing.

Bell went one pick before JJ to Denver...we got lucky there. Davenport is that big bruising back with some wiggle...great compliment to JJ...f we are looking at backs like Shelton in the draft...I'd almost think Davenport would be a steal with a 4th.

Once again...
I never get what I ask for.
I've been calling for Daveneport ever since I found out he was tendered at only a 4th round pick.
Oh well...



How bout Verron Haynes FB (PIT) 5th round tender?
Perfect future replacement for R. Anderson.
Darrian Barnes sucks.
