Cb........way too much time on your hands young man. This is indeed a great question, especially due to the fact that NO ONE knows the status of Henson/Romo. I've never really thought about it but if you do it really could be yet another glaring need. One would have to admit that Henson looked horrible Thanksgiving. It had to be theeee slowest half of football I've ever seen. HMMMMM. I don't have a thought on this one at the moment.
SEE!! Now you went and made me think. I try and not do that on the weekends, thank you very much!
AS: Cowboys ice their own kicker in 19-13 OT loss

“That is one of the luxuries of my position as owner as well as the ultimate decision maker, general manager and president – I can do that and take the losses and come back for more,” Jones said.

God help us...............

Thanks for referring to me as "young man"......I now consider you to be the best poster on the board. As far as making you have to think on a weekend.........sorry about that!

Being a Henson fan I would hate seeing another vet brought in. That would make me somewhat suspicious of Parcells' confidence in DH.

Yes, the question is one that merits some pondering.

Henson might see a little bit of playing time but Vinny would quickly take the field because "He gives us the best chance to win!"
that's hilarious, top notch, top notch!!

Not if the answer is VT.

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

Personally, I believe Bledsoe will fall victim to injury before Week 7. If BP thinks either Romo or Henson are ready, then fine. But if they aren't, I would hope to have a VT or another vet (NOT COUCH!!!) as the backup.
Ok then. There's some info (DMN reporting the option & Romo not having signed his ERFA contract as of yet), that does make this a legitimate question.

I was on the grumpy side yesterday.

In any case, I absolutely do not think that another vet QB will be brought in. Not only are there really no avaialble vets of any worth, it's not BP's MO to have two old guys.

Personaly, I think that if BP thinks Henson can't handle coming in if Bledsoe gets hurt, then there's no point in having Henson on the team.

I agree!! However we don't have to worry about Couch anyway because he isn't old enough for Parcells!!
