Trade in the first

What I can't understand why Dallas did not trade back in the first and stab Kevin Jones. They could have given up one of those second round picks and a four and move back into first. Then with that other second pick trade down in the draft second and possible pick up a fourth round pick.

Bill Parcells said they were trying to move back up. He didn't specify if they were going for K Jones, though. I think it was attempted, but didn't work out.

Too expensive. People were giving up premium picks to move up. We would have to include a lot to move back into the first round.
