43 Julius Jones RB Notre Dame
Pat Kirwan's Analysis
As we know, this is Thomas Jones' brother. He rose from way back in the pack as his last season at Notre Dame came to an end. The opportunity to start in Dallas right away is there, and the way Parcells handled Curtis Martin in New England is the model for how Jones will be treated. Also expect him to return kickoffs -- he had 72 in college for 2,100 yards. After Tatum Bell, he may be the second fastest back in the draft.

52 Jacob Rogers OT Southern California
Pat Kirwan's Analysis
Rogers is a former tight end and an excellent athlete but has a medical history. Rogers is tough and plays hurt, which Bill Parcells loves. Could eventually be the Cowboys' left tackle, but with Larry Allen out of the mix and Vollers as the right tackle, Rogers could challenge to play along the line this year. This pick reminds me of how Parcells reconstructed the Jets in his second year, and he is very capable of throwing this kid on the field early.

83 Stephen Peterman G Louisiana State
Gil Brandt's Analysis
Peterman was an all-state tight end in Mississippi and was top ranked. He came to LSU and they made a guard out of him. He has a big, wide body and has good athletic ability.
