Default Too Good to Be True?

I need some re-assurance. I look at this draft and smile at the players we picked. We truly did pick an awesome bunch. But then I think back in time and I remember that we haven't always drafted well. In fact, we've had some pretty shatty drafts not too long ago.

So, tell me fellow Zoner's, are these players all that we are making them out to be? Should I be this excited? Are our first 4 or 5 picks going to be solid contributors and more?

we had to add 2-3 starting quality players, I think we added alot more. Spears, Ware, Burnett, and Canty. That's not bad. Canty was rated as high as the second round on some boards.

After a decade of mediocre drafting, you have every right to be excited. We owned this year.

Frankly, if this doesn't remind you of Jones/Johnson era drafting....well, wake up man!

the draft three years ago looked awesome.... roy, gurode, bryant, ross.
this draft looks awesome.... but, this one will stay awesome - no teasers like bryant and ross in this one.

Well for one, he's not considered a headcase or banned from entering a state.

we absolutely kicked some major *** this year. our defense is going to throw so many different schemes at opponents, that they won't know what hit them.

1-AA players are not teasers... you discount many in the respect... even in our own team history...

Ware shined at the Senior Bowl... he was our target all along IMO...
