I'm pretty sure that it is a consensus that we have needs at three positions, RT, FS, and FB. Some may also say a future QB is a need but I'd ignore and disagree with them until we know more about Henson. Both RT and FS could be taken care of with the players we have on our roster or the players we drafted. We also have two positions where some would seek depth at WR and the O-line.
If we were to compare this to just 2 years ago, that list would double and maybe even triple. This to me is a very good thing and tells me that as a team, we have improved.
With this information in mind. we may be approaching a time where our FA pickups and our future drafts would be to replace players lost to free agency and retirement. Find capable starters at RT, FS, and FB and we could find ourselves without a position of need

This is a big difference when compared to our recent past where almost everything was done to fix glaring holes that had been present since so and so left.
Do not forget about our cap shape and the wonderful work that Adamjt err Stephen Jones is doing. Imagine with me a day where we could honestly say, hmm...position of need...nope...don't see one...and that with decent cap room. When this happens is when BPA takes on more meaning, and when we can come to a place that as players move on and retire, we have another player to come in which causes little drop in production.
