Default What about Right Tackle?

Anyone have thoughts on what we do there?

Tucker? Vollers? Petitti?

Or will we go after a free agent like Chris Terry?

Jerry and Bill said,"They were fine at right tackle." They must have something worked out. Guess we will find out.

If the other thread is true that said Petitti has is weight under control at 335, then he will compete with Tucker in camp...I liked this pic...I think he can be a good RT if in shape...he may need a year of lifting and learning, but should have a chance to compete for a starting job at RT...

Nah - tucker is still ahead of him.

Patience folks - patience. Like QB and WR, OL often takes a few years to learn and master.

I think you're right...his job is on the line this year too. I do like the pic...having Flo at LT with Rogers behind...Tucker at RT and Petitti as back up and maybe Vollers...we are in good shape. In my mind no longer a need position. If we are concerned I bet June 1st cuts will provide some options as well.

I think it will be Tucker, but Vollers might be the dark horse here.

I give Petiti a legitimate shot of starting over Tucker. Rookie tackles often start and even though this kid was a 6th rounder he slipped from possible 2nd-4th round consideration due to concerns about his weight. He will have to learn the footwork going from LT to RT but we're not splitting the atom here. When Parcells told the kid on the phone he'd have a chance to start I believe him. Petiti has both size and experience at the BCS level to compete for a starting job.
