Cowboys | Anderson Back Home Following Surgery - from www.KFFL.com
Tue, 26 Apr 2005 18:53:27 -0700

Updating previous reports, according to Nick Eatman of DallasCowboys.com, Dallas Cowboys FB Richie Anderson (neck) has returned home from New York, where he underwent neck surgery last week. Doctors performed an anterior cervical fusion procedure to repair the damaged disk in his neck. Anderson has yet to announce his intentions for the coming season, whether he will return for a 12th year or retire as some expect. Seems as though Anderson might have had the surgery sooner if he had plans to play this year. He's facing about a five-month rehab. Anderson suffered the injury late last year, and spent the last game on Injured Reserve. Since the injury occurred at the end of last season, the Cowboys would be responsible for his 2005 contract until he was healthy enough to pass a physical.

In 11 seasons, Glenn has started all but one of his 154 career games played, and has missed only 12 games in his career.

Cowboys | Scott Expected to Compete for FS Job - from www.KFFL.com
Tue, 26 Apr 2005 18:28:14 -0700

The Dallas Cowboys expect FS Lynn Scott to compete for the team's vacant starting free safety job during minicamps and training camp, reports Nick Eatman of DallasCowboys.com.

So this is pretty bad about Richie Anderson. Kind of disappointed that we aren't interested in Marion, at least for a one year deal, but I guess we have Finley instead . I am actually hopeful that Beriault will win the job, especially if he is as good as Mel says he is.
"Can we get Drew Bledsoe back out here just for a week, so you guys can fall back in love with Tony? Let's sign Drew Bledsoe back for a week. Because sometimes when you have a pretty girl for so long, you forget how pretty she is. But when you put an ugly girl next to her, 'Oh, no, I'm really doing well.' And maybe we need to bring Drew back, so we can back to 'Oh, no, we're really doing well.'"

One piece of good news... one i don't care about (marion).. one bad... adn a bunch of BULLHONKEY about players comepeting dor FS that has 1 possibility and a bunch that have no chance.

If our FS is on the roster right now his name is Pete Hunter.
"They say it makes your testicles shrink,'' Bonds said. "I can tell you my testicles are the same size. They haven't shrunk. They're the same and work just the same as they always have."

I agree. Hunter really doesnt have the right to ***** at all, granted he was hurt, but he doesnt have that much leverage on us, or anyone. He'd be perfect as a ballhawking FS, alot of natural instincts, and good speed and size. If Glenn is signed, which I think he will be, the only way Hunter really finds his way onto the field is as a FS

See Dis! I got boalls! Fahgettaboutit!
