By Dave Richard
Special to NFL.com
(Draftees from the 2005 NFL Draft sat down for a couple minutes and shared their thoughts and feelings about being picked. This entry comes from DE Demarcus Ware, selected No. 11 by the Dallas Cowboys.)
Going to play for Bill Parcells, is it surreal?
I can't believe it. It is America's team and they have lots of football tradition. They have so much to look up to and I cannot believe I'm going down there to play for them.

Did you play the 3-4 defense at Troy?
Yes, we did a little bit; I was like a defensive end or linebacker. I'm really comfortable in that formation. I actually don't know if they are going to play the 3-4. They just drafted me and said, "Come down here ready to play." I was like, 'That's a deal.'
What do you know about Marcus Spears?
I know he is a really big guy, strong, athletic and fast. He is a really good player and I saw him at the Senior Bowl.
You were a wide receiver when you came out and then you went to defensive end. Can you tell me about that transition?
When they moved me to defensive line, I had to learn how to cut like one. You learn cutting and finding any way you can to get to the ball. The time at wide receiver actually helped me out.
What else do you like about Dallas, other than the coach?
The unity on the team. I looked up on the Internet how they really key in on being like a family and having great chemistry. They have a lot of chemistry down there right now in Dallas.
Were you worried that you might not go this high?
Yeah, I was really worried that I wasn't going to go because at first they were really interested and they wanted me to come down there. And then all of a sudden they didn't invite me down for a workout. I thought that maybe my chances were gone and I just had to wait and see. Everything worked out fine though.
