Relax guys,here's the answer

Cowboys | Burnett to Battle for Starting SLB Spot - from www.KFFL.com
Thu, 5 May 2005 10:18:56 -0700

Updating a previous report, Nick Eatman, of DallasCowboys.com, reports Dallas Cowboys rookie LB Kevin Burnett is expected to battle LB Al Singleton for the starting strongside linebacker position in the team's 3-4 defensive scheme this year.

Hands down he'll win, and maybe they keep Al for depth.I think the
players we're hoping for,are already on the team.

We essentially signed him to a one year deal at the time. There was a team option after the first year for 5 years 25 million which we were not going to give. Similar deal that Ian Gold got with Tampa last year. Our salary cap situation is much different now. I believe we did want him back we were just outbid by the Bengals leaving us with the only thing left at the time- Singleton. Bottomline though I just don't know how Singleton fits into what we are trying to do. Its just my opinion that Hardy fits better. I think he would be a Roman Phiffer type of addition to our D.
I had an apartment and I had a neighbor, and whenever he would knock on my wall I knew he wanted me to turn my music down and that made me angry 'cause I like loud music... so when he knocked on the wall, I'd mess with his head. I'd say, "Go around! I cannot open the wall! I dunno if you have a doorknob on your side but over here there's nothin'. It's just flat."

Mitch Hedberg RIP

But there are signs that he could still be an in-demand free agent after June 1.

Law recently had a screw removed from the foot he broke on Oct. 31, and he reportedly has started to run and do limited workouts near his Miami home. Law and his agent, Carl Poston, expect offers will start bubbling to the surface once teams see he's healthy again.

WR - nope per BP

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

I think NFL teams should pass on players represented by the Postons. If that happened, the Postons would soon have no clients. Unfortunately, someone will always break to pickup a really good player.

they are both 31 Nors

I dont want either one of them, but Law might be closer to the scrap heap than Hardy...Law managed one pick and two passes defensed in 7 games, he looked like toast on the field in the games he did manage to play in AND he's coming off a major injury thats so bad he still cant run for anyone...at least Hardy had 70 tackles and 4 sacks and played in all 16 games last yr
