You feel that Peterson will fall to us at #9? That would be great, I hope it happens but I am not really optimistic about it. Hynoski is awesome. I like that guy better than any fullback I have seen since we had Moose in the backfield.

It won't happen, i'd be surprised to see Peterson make it past Buffalo if both Bowers and Fairley are off the board.

I seriously doubt we get Peterson without a trade. I really am growing on the idea of taking Cameron Jordan at 9. I also think our entire draft should be used to shore up the O-Line, secondary or improvements on defense. This is what I envision for our defense:

DE: Cameron Jordan
NT: Paul Soliai
DE: Jay Ratliff

OLB: Anthony Spencer
ILB : Bradie James
ILB : Sean Lee
OLB: DeMarcus Ware

CB : Terence Newman
FS : Michael Huff
SS : Gerald Sensabaugh
CB : Mike Jenkins

Much stranger things have happened.

There are a ton of questions if PP can even be a good CB in the NFL right now.

Dez, Stephen Jackson, and Wilfork were never supposed to fall anywhere near where we were picking.

Guys will move into the top 10.

Guys who were considered top 5-10 locks will fall out as we move closer.

Hello Jake Locker.

obvioulsey love PP in round 1 . and while i really like Herzlich whos just a tough terrific football player i will be extremely disapointed if we trade down and wisniewski was still there a gurd maybe day 1 and our possible center for years to come.

I don't really want to draft either a FB or RB at all this year, but I wouldn't be uphappy with this.

I doubt we get Peterson without making a move unless something goes bonkers before the draft, but I'd be thrilled if that were the case.
We need wins, and that's all we need. I don't give a damn about anyone on this roster over wins. I'd trade Ware, Lee and Dez if it meant more wins.

Love your mock and FA. Only one thing I would switch is DeMarcus Love. Just not a big fan of his after the Senior Bowl.

CB : Terrence Newman (re-worked)
FS : Mike Huff

4 new starters out of twelve which is a 33% change that is needed looking at last years results.

D-line and secondary get the most change since they were the most ineffective parts of the defense. Would also get another FA cb like Joseph from Cincy or draft Williams in the 2nd from Texas.

If not I take a guy like Cannon in the 2nd for the OL and sign a viable RT in FA. Rounds 3-7 are predominantly OL and DL depth, bust or boom types.

Probably have the best front 7 in the league if it goes down like that and a strong enough secondary. Definitely the best 3 man front in the league.

Word is Paul Soliai will be franchised by the Dolphins.

There is a good chance that you don't like me, but there is a better chance that I don't care.

If I'm not insulting you, I'm probably not aware that you exist.

Jerry Jones in the draft room is suicide on the football field. The line of scrimmage is EVERYTHING. Something Jerry doesn't understand.
