Those rock.
We used to think we lost in the blue ones. Most of the time we could wear the white. Some teams chose to wear their white at home forcing us to wear the blue.

I still have a preference for the white ones.
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.

It was a marketing thing pure and simple. The Cowboys wore white so the other team could show off its signature colors when they played in Texas Stadium. This made for a more attractive matchup.

It was a bit more than that, the dark blues are absorb heat and Texas Stadium gets dog gone hot is the 1st part of the season (Sept through Oct), whites are much cooler which is why you see them wear that during practice as well.

Quite true, and probably also a big part of making the decision to go white!

BTW, I also would like to see the numbers cut more stylish, maybe with western font to remind of cowboys and the wild west. I always wondered what mirror chrome on the helmet instead of silver would look like. Maybe too reflective... the reflections might hide the blue star.

The serif style numerals on jerseys in the 60s and 70s were damned sharp, and had a western feel to them. Id LOVE to see the team go back to that, so distinctive. The current blue road jerseys could use a lot of work and change. Nothing distinctive to them, IMHO.
