Default Rookie wage scale already agreed upon

Vonnie Holliday is on ESPN and said that is the only issue that has been agreed upon thus far

Just thought about this

Rookies can't sign their contracts until a new Cba is in place, if the new Cba puts the rookie scale in effect this season it will make trading up...even way up (ie top 5) much more attractive and likely...

Since it appears they have already agreed upon a rookie wage scale, teams could know in advance, even if a new cba isn't signed on draft day that once it is signed the rookie scale will be in place

Well that was always the easy one. Despite what some dimwits thought, the great majority of veterans in the NFL resented the millions those rookies got.

The question who was going to get the money that was taken away from the rookies.

Despite labeling myself a "realist", no one understands my pain or appreciates my special truth. Stupid world.

That sixth pick would have been really valuable right about now.

This was easy one.

No rookies to speak and voice their opinions at the CBA (yet to be drafted). Everyman for himself.
