the point of the matter is this, if henry shows to play better than theo ther FS, and maybe hunter or glenn shows to play better at CB then the switches will be made.We didnt pay anybody anything to come and play a postion, we paid all these players to come and help us WIN. I dont care if henry plays LB if him play LB helps us win then i'm all for it.

It is an unfortunate by-product of over analyzation.
And over analyzation is gauranteed to result if you put a group of Cowboys fanatics on a forum in the off-season with to much time on their hands.
Kind of like giving a loaded gun to a toddler. You can pretty much expect bad things to happen.
But fortunately the gun is loaded with blanks....so worst thing that can truly result is a bad headache.

I'll buy into this logic. I won't buy into the logic that because we paid $10 mil in bonus money we wouldn't play him at FS.
Parcells doesn't care who makes what. All he cares about is winning. If it took moving Henry to safety to make things work, I suspect he would.
I just don't see that as a likely scenario.
I do like our depth at CB this year. We could end up cutting a CB who contributes for another team.
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.

[font=Tahoma]What we have here is people that suffer from acute obessive compulsive disorder. It's insane that everyone jumps on every free agent DB as a solution to the FS problem. It's ironic because we don't have one. Well, not yet anyway.
Anybody who thinks so is either a fortune teller or just rocking some Ricky grass. I'm inclined to believe the latter.

I do not believe that Henry to free safety is that far fetched, as long as you consider that we have Glenn and ignore the money issue.
Now compare this idea to what I see at other boards which are suggesting outlandish things like moving Al Johnson or Andre Gurode to RT?
Now that is "reinventing the wheel" and losing your mind at the same time.

That won't work.
He is going to be a surprise training camp cut, remember?

Wow...I never read that one. I would have remembered.
We need to setup electonic wagering on this site. People can wager with each other on these types of things with their credit cards.
I could use some extra cash.

I don't think it's a far fetched idea either Alexander. Nor do I think money has anything to do with it.
Hunter will play at "FS" in nickel and dime packages already. He's big and fast enough to line up on people like Shockey or our equivalent of Witten and he can cover and double up on people like TO. Henry is going to be used primarily as a CB but he may end up playing a similar role in certain three and four WR sets. Who knows except the coaches. They'll put the best players out there most of the time to cover whatever the O is throwing at them. Hopefully.
I would like for there to be more experience back there at safety as far as the true 3 likely 4 listed safeties on our defense.
I'm not going to be comfortable with Williams followed by Davis, Scott and whomever else has never played much at this level.
We might get by all year with just Williams and Davis/Scott. Or we might not.

I'd be on board with whatever works. Maybe not this year, but let Campbell bulk up next year (off season). The guy is a terrific blocker. That would leave a hole at blocking TE, but we all know how BP likes to draft TE's.
Be excellent to each other....

There were actually some speculation last year that was what BP had in mind for Ryan. Not from the team or media, just posters.
