how is 1945 oints equal to 1730 points

can this guy do simple math?

you said it would work and it adds up, please tell using your fuzzy math how ths adds up.

He stated that not many teams go strictly by that old, outdated draft value chart from the early 90's (which is true). That right there should tell you that the figures you are leaning so heavily on in your argument aren't that important anymore... therefore the basis of your argument isn't really that valid.

You want it to add up on the value chart, and he's telling you that they no longer need to add up for the trades to still happen.

who is telling me this. Thats a big difference according to the chart.
just go by recent history and no one has every made a trade like that.
I don't care if you go by the chart or not, that trade still wouldn't work.

Calm down.

I went back and corrected my post but it looks like you pounced on it before i could scratch it.

I did say it was my bad and I didn't know what I was thinking witht he 1st-3rd, 1st-2nd addition.

And yes, amazingly, I can do simple math.

Again, my bad.

Even with that totally obsolete value chart that nobody uses anymore, that would have been a stretch.

Just an example...
They could trade their 11th and 43rd picks for Arizona's 5th and 69th.

I suspect Arizona wouldn't mind having Alden Smith or Quinn at 11 if they could get one of them there. Of course, Zona may want Peterson for themselves.
It would take more than that.

The value of the Texan's 11th and 43rd is 1720, Arizona's 5th and 69th equate to 1,945.

They'd have to put their 3rd rounder in play somehow in that scenario, but it might be worth it to them since they'd be moving up in the 3rd as well.
We need wins, and that's all we need. I don't give a damn about anyone on this roster over wins. I'd trade Ware, Lee and Dez if it meant more wins.

Yes.
I later came back and said that I basically had a brain fart.
Believe it or not...it wasn't this
