I'd say it's entirely possible that even IF (and we don't know at this point) Taylor did it, he could get one of his lackeys to take the brunt of it. Three years in jail, vs say a million dollars - that's 333,000 a year for doing time, and how many people are going to make that? Especially the people Taylor seems to be hanging out with. Hell for a million I'll fess up myself and do the time.

And didn't the NFL object because it was too sensationalistic and made the league look bad?
