True, but Parcells may just alternate both guys. It's the way of things if you get picked in the first round. No star treatment.

It'll be a rotation gig.......whoever is farthest from the water. However I don't think Sparano knew how close it was to being him!!!!
AS: Cowboys ice their own kicker in 19-13 OT loss

Spears came to the second mini camp at 294...that's not an issue any longer unless he gains it back.
Ware was the first pick so he gets the honor...as it were

It is not the first round pick, it is the first pick. If it was the first round pick, BP would have gone thirsty last year.

No question its Ware and here why...
Parcells understands he has a "LT" type player here...He did however come from a very small school, he will be teaching coaching, talking to Ware all the time...
Spears is a mature guy, (not that Ware isn't) great leader already...
No, its Ware,

Both, when Parcells sees that defence his mouth is going to be watering. He is going to need something to wash it down with...

i have to confess i get a kick outta some of the subtler things parcells brought with him like:
a) first dallas draft selectee brings the coach water...
b) no star decals for rookies until they make the roster.
i hope these become traditions with the cowboys and remain with the team long after parcells has retired. as a geezer, i love a good tradition and these examples fit the bill.
by the way - my family reunion was last weekend and it was awesome. much better than i remember them being as a child or young man.
