Sorry, 1st rounder wont happen, the cardinals pick ahead of us, even though were both 8-8 record and cardinals beat us. Cards pick 13th and we pick 14th and being said cards want decastro too.

Way too early to state who the Cards will take. They need a ton of help as well.

Even some of the CB prospects would be acceptable at #14.

So trade up for him.

I'm already gonna make it clear I want no part of a trade down.

Didn't want it last year, don't want it this year. Identify your target, go get him if you have to.

Sorry, Levi Brown has been a massive bust for them at LT and he is free agent. That may have something to do with who they take in 1st round. And it's not like we can't move up as we have in recent years for the guy we really wanted.

AZ signed Hadnot to 3 year deal in 2010 and Colledge to 5 year deal in 2011.

LT is way more of a pressing issue for them. Not to mention QB.

Supposedly they have been pretty interested in Riley Reiff from Iowa.

The Cardinals will be hard pressed to pass up addressing the OL again this year when they have been vocal about missing out on it the last couple. Likely both the top OT's in this draft will be off the board and arguably DeCastro is the 3rd best OL in this draft.

They are someone we need to worry about if we are really targeting DeCastro.

With the depth of guards this year, I would rather get one later with all of our other needs. Plus, I really don't see Jerry taking a guard in the first round, heck I would rather get a RT and move Free instead if I'm picking an OL in the first round again.

Totally agree....I'd pass on cb's as well (many in FA) and focus on dline and olb. You can get a good guard in the third round this year.

I'll take Decastro over any guard in the third round. Decastro is pretty much a can't miss prospect as you can get and the best OG to come out in recent memory. Don't leave it to chance.

CB depth will be there in the second round. In terms of a pass rusher to potentially replace Spencer, you can find those niche guys later.

We can't let them get us again. They snubbed Peterson from year. We need to move up to possibly #12 if we have to.
It is hard to fail, but it is worse never to have tried to succeed.

Yeah, that's why Decastro is a first round prospect, and rated over 3rd round guards. That doesn't mean he is the best pick for this team.

This D showed me yesterday that they need far more than 'depth'. A pass rusher isn't a niche player, probably one of the most important players and highest paid on a D.

The homer in me thinks I will automatically start docking a point to each mock draft that does not include Vinny Curry or Bruce Irvin.

If I can find a way to get Irvin in I will because I debate the heck out of him every time I do one.
