Default Randy Galloway on 103.3

Jennifer Floyd coming up

Anyway, alleges that BP just plain doesn't like Drew Henson. He thought Drew should have asked for a trade in the offseason. Said he will not start as long as Parcells is here.

If I was Henson, I would throw my jersey at BP to force a trade...........

I guess it's Bill's fault that Henson is having a poor training camp. From reports coming out of camp, Henson has not looked good. And it's Bill's fault that Henson is throwing everywhere but to the recievers!!!!!!!!!!!

Galloway is an idiot and has been saying that for a year. With the changes in his mechanics and his current struggles with those changes its painfully obvious that BP has been right in not rushing him. Its either one extreme or another for some of his supporters or doubters.

What was interesting was when he said he was wondering last year if signing Henson was mainly Jerry's doing, so Galloway talked to a scout on the team. He said no, that when Henson had his workout in Houston, Parcells insisted on personally selecting the scout that would go and also sent Sean Payton. So he thinks he was totally on board with signing Henson, and that he's soured on Henson since he's been here.

I bet Phil Simms would have said the same thing about Parcells not liking him.

Am I the only one who feels like punching a wall everytime I hear this Randy Galloway person speak on the radio? it sounds like he modified his microphone to level 20 max volume instead of 10 because I can literally hear him breathing thru his nose, and I can hear every lick smack clearly... it's so annoying

either that or he just sticks microphones up his nose and inside his mouth

Jen just said she 'just doesn't buy into the idea Bill doesn't like Henson. "

She said she thinks he "DOES like the kid".

(I wish there were more talk about actual performance than who likes whom. But Jen did say NONE of the 3 qbs has looked that good, and Henson has looked the "worst".)

Summary of JLE's interview:

* Asked if she agreed that Parcells is down on Henson. Says Tono Romo definitely has a cheering section with the coaches. She says "to be honest," NONE of the 3 quarterbacks have looked that good at all. Henson has looked the worse of the 3 and doesn't buy into any conspiracy theory that Parcells doesn't like him. He does like him and wants him to succeed. Parcells recognizes its a work in progress and when all is said and done, Henson will probably be the backup.

* Doesn't matter anyways about QB as much because Cowboys going to be a running team.

* Larry Allen situation is just that LA didn't finish the drill. Larry coming in out of shape didn't help at all. The Cowboys training staff saying he is ready now and thinks its funny how after 3 days he's suddenly *in shape* now.

* Jacob Rogers is practicing with 1st team but not exactly emerging as the new RT. Regarding Torrin Tucker, not sure Cowboys want to go through another bad year with him. Thinks Rogers had a hell of an offseason to go from "can't get on field" to starting unit now. Larry Allen going to right tackle is LAST OPTION. Emergency only.

* Thinks fans who said Keyshawn wasn't a team guy, was too selfish, were dead wrong. Doesn't understand criticism about him. Keyshawn proved last year he was the ultimate team guy. Making tough catches over the middle, playing hurt, one of the few guys who mentally and physically didn't collapse last year when the team was rolling over. The radio hosts still hated Key and she was about to go into players who they thought were "role models" and what really happened to them when the team was collapsing but the hosts changed the subject.

* Sort of made fun of Rob Petitti's injury. Said ankle was just from someone kicking him. Said Petitti is the anti-P Diddy, whatever that means.

I love Jen, but she's definitely drinking the Kool-Aid a little bit with this team. If Bill says it, she's going to believe it, even though everyone knows he'll bend the truth.

She did mention last night what you guys are saying, though... That really none of the QBs have been very good, including Bledsoe.

I use to really dislike Galloway before I started to listening to him on ESPN radio. I'm convinced that he's a newspaper and radio clown who draws attention to himself for saying stupid things just to get a response from people. You never know when to take him seriously. He's a sideshow at best.

TRUE...I don't think Galloway ever writes a positive article or says a positive word on the Cowboys. He simply took the place of the idiot who started the Aikman is gay thing. Skip Bayless, worthless reporter, rather listen to Joe Theisman....and that is BAAAAAAAD....

are you freakin kidding me? Some people are just so hard-headed and no matter what are too full of pride to change the way they think. Who are the hosts that hate Keyshawn? they deserve to be held back by me and punched in the stomach by Key

I can't get this crap about Key....not only has he been that ultimate 'team guy' hre, but he has totally abandoned the rivalry with other receivers on the team schtick . I for one was not surprised how he automatically came to TG's defense in the Cleveland game (and getting a dumb penalty for it), because even when it was obvious there ws no love lost between him and Wayne Chrebet, Key ALWAYS had EVERY team mates' back.

But off the field he has the epitome of good buddy with ALL the receivers. No chest thumping, no jealousy. EVEN with AB. It was Key who rushed to AB's defense after the infamous jersey throwing incident. Instead of instigating, he was seen trying to soothe. Key has done nothing but GOOD here, imo.
