Heck I haven't heard a lot of positive on any of the QBs... have you?
Bledsoe throws the ball "hard and soft" has been about the only one.

True... At least I can listen to 103.3 without having to worry about a sexual harassment suit if a female happens to come into my office when I have it on.

It seems the reports on Bledsoe are relatively positive, but that might just be because he is better than the other two. And he had better be....

It is not a like or dislike with Henson. Henson is just flat NOT the kind of QB Parcells wants, he wants a bus driver. Parcells has made that clear, he doesn't want a QB who can win a game by himself.(so to speak) No player can be bigger than the team. Most of all, no player can be bigger than Parcells.
If you gave parcells the choice of Staubach, Elway, or a Phil Simms(in their primes) to run his team, who do you think he would pick?
Parcells never planned on Henson looking so good last year. I'm sure he thought Henson would be a two-year project at least, before he had to deal with him as a candidate for starter. By unnecessarily changing Henson's motion this off-season, he just pushed him back into a two-year project.
It really doesn't matter who is the #2 guy this year, if Bledsoe goes down, there is NO WAY Romo or Henson will see the field. Not while we're "in the play-off race"! A veteran will be brought in ASAP.
Now, I like Bill as a coach. However, not everything he does, I like.

It seems like Bledsoe has developed a bit of a rapport with Witten, and I have been encouraged by the number of times he has checked down during the 7-v-7 and 11-v-11 drills. Perhaps the secondary is just that much better.
I have also been encouraged that Bledsoe's leadership has been mentioned. I never felt that VT offered much in that department (though I could be wrong).

First, what leads you to believe that Henson is that kind of guy? Second, what makes you think Bledsoe isn't?
As far as looking so good last season....I dunno where you pulled that from. 2.5 quarters of football? And 2 of those quarters, at least, I think we will have to disagree....

It's pretty clear that Henson doesn't have the throwing motion down, at least for live action. The fact that he can do it perfectly on the side but struggles with it in drills (particularly the part about reverting to his old form) suggests that, despite several thousand offseason passes, this change is still a work in progress.

No doubt it is different throwing passes on a sideline and doing it in 7 on 7 or 11 on 11 drills and it will be different when we hit these pre-season games. Again though Dallas has some time to work with Henson which is why they gave him the contract he has, this was not going to be an overnight project. I still feel he has ability to learn and become a good QB but he has to go out there and show it.

This is an exaggeration, imo. As was the Mike Fisher article yesterday on the same topic - that bill "prefers' a nobody/mediocrity/no name at QB. Nonsense.
If Bill Parcells was so averse to elite QBing, he never would have drafted Drew Bledoe in 93. And sometimes we forget, because he was cool, collected, and kept himself out of the limelight that Phil Simms was a first round pick. A HOFer. And that Vinnie Testaverde won the Heisman.
ALL of Bill's 'bus driver statements' have been comments on what a QB needs to succeed, not the qualities of the QB himself.
They are highly PRO quarterback sentiments, because they are based on the belief that when the team is built solidly from the line out and role players up, you don't put undue pressure on your QB to work miracles on a weekly basis. It is also a free agency/salary cap era philosophy.
Bill appreciates a QB who can come from behind, and who can win one on his own on occasion. But he knows it is sheer mythology that ANY "celebrity" QB ever did it on his own. They ALL had a good enough bus to drive if they reached the SB.
It is a QB friendly philosophy, not ego, or a preference for scrubs/mediocres. On the other hand, it is also true you CAN'T just dial up Payton Manning, and even if you are lucky enough to have done so, that particular bus driver's salary might cost you the Roy Williams and the Jason Wittens down the road.
Tuna is a team builder. The QB is the most important piece of the puzzle, but you build around him, not from him, because he's always one blitz away from not being there.
The notion that Bill deliberately set DH back by seeking to impove an area of mechanics that MUST be improved if he is to suceed, is well, nutso.
David Lee is what..an assassin?

That's why I couldn't stand him." That quote infuriated me because the next day, Mickey, who we all know hasn't the best regard for Q, came out and said "Look, noone outside the organization knew about this....." I have despised Galloway since.

I don't know for sure what Galloway knew, or what the organization knew, but I used to post regularly at the FWST board, and a guy there back during the 2000-2001 seasons said that Quincy's drug use was an open secret at UGA. Of course, absent any proof, he was shouted down by the legions of Q-lovers, but the guy made the claim nonetheless.
I wouldn't be surprised if Galloway was telling the truth about this. If I remember correctly, he wasn't the only local personality who made such a comment. JJT (at least I think it was him) said the same thing in a roundabout way on Galloway's show one afternoon in the days following Q's release. Given Q's alleged participation in the NFL's drug program since he came into the league, I'd say the team knew about it. I wouldn't be surprised if Mickey didn't know, but I'd wager Jones did.
