we don't need a capable starting guard day 1? lol I am not saying I agree with trading our 1st away next year, but it wouldn't be all that silly in my opinion if you were to pick up DeCastro

Would you trade our 1st rounder next year for a second rounder this year? (and maybe some late round picks thrown in?)

Every year it seems Belichick trades one of his 2nd rounders for a future 1st rounder. Or he trades a 3rd rounder for a future 2-pick.

Rams have a bunch of seconds and even Philly has two.

Would ya?

Just outplayed him. Otay.

Dez 928 yds, 9 tds.
Robinson 858 yds, 11 tds.

I seem to recall that he always disappeared in the 2nd half of games.

Right now I'd trade our first next year and our third this year to move back into the first round for decastro.

I haven't said anything either way. Just commenting on Robinson supposedly outplaying Dez.

I wouldn't. he offers the team something it could use more of-- home run potential...

I'm quite happy with Murray/Jones as a tandem... if it ain't broke, don't fix it...

One of the last three, and add Brandon Brooks to the list... I think Konz would be the favorite, because he's the center... but they'd have to trade up pretty high in the 2nd, I think (assuming he doesn't get grabbed in the 1st)...

I wouldn't have. A guard???????

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

I think the break between tonight and tomorrow night is great because it gives us time to make those phone calls.
"Can we get Drew Bledsoe back out here just for a week, so you guys can fall back in love with Tony? Let's sign Drew Bledsoe back for a week. Because sometimes when you have a pretty girl for so long, you forget how pretty she is. But when you put an ugly girl next to her, 'Oh, no, I'm really doing well.' And maybe we need to bring Drew back, so we can back to 'Oh, no, we're really doing well.'"
