I don't know much about Billy Winn so I wonder if he can move into the rotation at DE right away and contribute. If he can it would be a solid pick.

As for Broyles and Blake, I think they can contribute right away so I'm all for it!
Garrett to players: Make today a great day; go about the business of winning! If you can't keep up then don't step up.

Blake would be an instant upgrade over Costa

Broyles is already better then any WR we have past #2

Reading the scouting quotes on Blake on JSOnline really soured me on him. He sounds lazy. He's no where near as good as Danny Watkins, and Watkins really struggled as a rookie coming from Baylor's spread offense. I'd rather go Joe Looney in the 5th and stash him for a year.

Costa and Nagy are going to compete for the C job, and no rookie other than maybe Konz is beating them out.

good chance our OL will be very good this year with an offseason under it's belt--I hope we get some DT run stoppers and DE pass rushers to mix into our schemes

Yeah, I'm not big on Blake either.

I would rather have one of the Brandon's... Brooks or Washington.

Some potential targets I would be interested in Round 3 and 4, in no particular order,

Markelle Martin, FS Okla State
Brandon Brooks, OG Miami (OH)
Billy Winn, DT, Boise St.
Michael Egnew, TE, Missouri
Charles Orson, TE, Georgia,
L Green, TE, LA-Lafayette
R Broyles, WR, Oklahoma

Leonard Johnson, DC, Iowa St. ----> maybe as a FS?

Derek Wolfe, DT, Cinn -----------> I doubt he lasts to Round 3, however

Brandon Washington, OG, Miami --------> I read that he may be able to play OC. Could be interesting.

P Blake, OC, Baylor
TY Hilton, WR, FI

James Michael Johnson, IL, Nevada

There are quite a few interesting guys out there. Not sure how many starters, but a lot of role players who would get a lot of snaps.

Wolfe DE in 3rd
Blake C in 4th

I'd be very happy if they manage this.

Lots of targets if they get back into the 2nd:

Konz C
Alameda NG
Fleener TE
Branch OLB
Curry OLB
Brooks G
Silatulo G
