thought I would bump this just to see how close this is, it says we get an 80 point discount

yeah, it was a 50 point discount (or 3%) on the current standard chart. I'm sure that's why the Rams wanted us to throw in a 5th rounder to get it closer. Glad we didn't.

+/- 3% is pretty close, imo.
Adam's values were also about that range.

As I mentioned a few days ago, about 60 percent of draft pick trades are simple two-for-one deals. If you're close point-wise, most teams won't kill a deal over a late-round pick.

I'm sure the Cowboys won't forget they got a good deal and the Rams won't forget they gave us a good deal. It's a good business relationship and there will be plenty of drafts in the future.
