Question All Cowboy Fans in the Phoenix, AZ Area (Mainly the East Valley)

Hey to all my fellow AZ Zoners,

I wanted to see what everyone's plans were to watch games this season. I have been a Buffalo Wild Wings man for about 7 seasons, up until last season. My wife convinced me to do the ticket last season, which was OK but it just didn't have the right feel. Plus, I was always the one buying the pizza!!!

My wife asked me today if we were doing BWW or the ticket, and I didn't know what to say. My wife is also 16 weeks pregnant, so getting her up to go to BWW wont be easy during the season.

I live down in Maricopa, but I would drive to BWW every weekend. I go to the one at Elliot and McQueen. I know the Manager and most of the waitresses. Plus their setup to watch the games is the best, IMO.

I know their is an AZ Cowboys fan club, but they meet up in either Glendale or North Phoenix, and I'm not making that drive.

Anyone know of any groups of Cowboy fans getting together in the east Valley to watch games? I'm good for Ahwatukee, Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert, or Mesa.

Let me know!

- Mike

P.S. - Hostile, you're more than welcome to make the drive up!!!!!

I've been a Die-Hard Cowboys fan since September 30th, 1985!!!

Hey man, our fanclub has regular meetings in Phoenix and Tucson for the games. I think it is the Sand Bar in Peoria.

I'd love to if I can.

Peoria is way on the west side. Easily an hour to an hour and 20 minutes each way.

I'm also out in Maricopa. I'd be down for getting together now and then. I have three kids all 4 and younger so making it every week would be tough. Congrats on the baby, your first?

Nice to see another Copa Cowboys fan!

Yeah, I kind of figured it was a long drive since you said East Valley. A lot of my wife's family live in the East Valley (Mesa, Gilbert, and Queen Creek areas) but none of them are sports fans. Maybe if we are there visiting for a weekend I can make it.

There are a couple of guys I sit with at BWW but last season they were hit and miss. Plenty of Cowboy fans though. Just don't know many of them.
