10 days to prepare? I know you lose games in the NFL but they weren't even competitive. If they lost a hard fought game it wouldn't be that bad around here. Sure some guys would be upset but not at this level it is tonight. They got beatdown plain and simple.

your dead on....sir!.....

So you start this thread and the "Don't Jump Off A Bridge" thread after we lose. Why do you have to create multiple threads which are pretty much stating not to overreact after a loss? Are you that much of an attention seeker? Just my personal opinion but man you create a lot of threads

Describe it as it is now or when it was a true Cowboys board?

Hopefully referring the OPer who, early on, gave little or no respect to Seattle at home....

Humbled.

Of course Jimmy's teams had special teams miscues. But that's not why we lost yesterday. We get that punt off, and we lose by one touchdown fewer...

I am not trying to run down Jimmy or prop up Garrett, but there's an enormous difference between that roster and this, and guys like Irvin and Smith and all along the lines were consummate professionals and ridiculously talented, which I think accounts for alot of what we see on the field as "preparation".

That said, this team almost never looks ready to play with extra time off.

Maybe so.

I do think that 10 point hole that Special Teams put us in to start the game set the tone for the rest of the afternoon.

Not sure we would have won anyway though, but it had strong effecton many levels.
