Rival GM Calls The Detroit Lions Overrated
At 1-3 and last in the NFC North, the Detroit Lions are one of the NFL’s biggest early-season disappointments. Now, a rival executive has called them “overrated,” a label that isn’t sitting well with Detroit‘s players.
A rival general manager told Pro Football Weekly in a story posted Monday that the Lions‘ talent level has been oversold and called out defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh and Cliff Avril in particular as players who are overhyped. They are not overrated.
They simply are not doing their jobs. They have what it takes as far as players, they just are playing terrible ball. Non-performing as far as I look at it. Quote:

Who are they overrated by??
They are 1-3 with a bad defense, a suspect running game and a QB that gets hurt when he sneezes. Absent Calvin Johnson, they are pretty much a joke.   There is no formula for success except an unconditional acceptance of life and what it brings. |
