3 times the Cowboys played teams that were 7-0 or better. # times the cowboys gave those teams their 1st loss of the season.
most recently the Saints and the colts, and also the 1991 Redskins.
all 3 of those teams that lost to Dallas, went on to win the SB that year....so if the Cowboys win....will the Falcons win the SB this year....

This has merit, but not for the reason I believe most think it does.
BTW. I'd feel a little better about playing a 9-0 Atlanta team. Undefeated team's prospects for a loss seem to increase with each win. 7-0 is no big deal. You get to 9-0 and it suddenly becomes real.......the talk and pressure of an undefeated season becomes a factor.
But forget 91, since most of these players were in diapers. But Romo and a few other key players were part of the 2006 and 2009 games. We might just have the right combo of confidence we can do this and desperation that we need to.
